Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) is the world's most comprehensive education, rehabilitation, and service program serving individuals of all ages who are Deaf, Blind, DeafBlind, and multidisabled and their families. Founded in 1858, AIDB serves more than 32,000 infants, toddlers, children, adults, and seniors with hearing and vision loss throughout Alabama each year.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education from an accrediting school or program.
- Must have an Alabama Teaching Certificate in the area of English as a Second Language or be able to obtain reciprocity with the State of Alabama within six (6) months of employment. within twelve (12) months of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Education from an accrediting school or program.

SALARY: $46,812 - $73,640 Scale lC Rank 2T (BS-Class B)
$54,870 - $84,580 Scale lC Rank 1T (MA-Class A)
$58,413 - $89,382 Scale lC Rank AA (AA Certification)

Direct deposit required. Annual salary based on hours scheduled to work each academic school year (187 days).
This is an exempt position and is not subject to overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
