K-12 Talladega Local Route Bus Driver

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our employees are our most valuable resource. Our Bus Drivers are an integral part of AIDB's Transportation team, which also provides services throughout the entire organization. The Bus Driver provides a safe environment for AIDB's students and consumers. The Bus Driver will communicate on 2-way radio and/or cellular phone to ensure safety throughout trips. Together while following all of AIDB policies and procedures, the transportation team serves students at Alabama School for the Deaf, Alabama School for the Blind, the Helen Keller School, and E.H. Gentry. The Bus Drivers report to the Director of Transportation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a High School diploma or General Equivalency diploma.
- Must hold current valid Alabama CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsement.

SALARY: HB-01 $24.12-$29.07
This is a non-exempt position and is subject to overtime and/or compensatory time provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
